What is FCRA?
The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) regulates the acceptance and utilization of foreign contributions by NGOs, associations, and individuals in India. The Act aims to ensure that foreign funds are used for legitimate purposes and do not adversely affect national interest.
FCRA registration is mandatory for any NGO or association that wants to receive foreign contributions. The Act is administered by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and all applications are processed through the FCRA online portal.
At Advocate in Asansol, we help NGOs obtain FCRA registration and comply with FCRA requirements. Our lawyers handle the application process, compliance, and renewal applications.
